Councillors' Surgery
Rodney will be holding a surgery at Penylan Library (near the Roath Rec) between 11am and 12pm tomorrow. He will be able to help with any Council related issues.

Disabled Parking Space - Cyfarthfa Street
We have been told by Council Officers that they intend to install a disabled person's parking place outside 29 Cyfarthfa Street. This is being done at the request of a holder of a disabled person's badge. If anyone has views regarding this matter, please contact us.

We have been told by Council Officers that they intend to remove the disabled person's parking place outside 19 Inverness Place as the bay is no longer used by the original applicant. If anyone has views regarding this matter, please contact us.

Community Grants Programme 2004/05
The United Reform Church on Pen-y-Wain Road and the Central African Association have been awarded a Community Grant for the next year. Grants are available to community and voluntary groups to support projects which upgrade community buildings and secure wider use by local people and groups. The United Reform Church are putting the money towards the cost of kitchen refurbishment and the Central African Association are spending their grant to purchase IT equipment and refurbish to be able to provide IT training.

Traffic in Cottrell Road - Update
Following a meeting with Council Officers regarding traffic in Cottrell Road we have been told that improvements will be made.
The road markings at the junctions of Cottrell Road with Arran Street and Cyfarthfa Street will be renewed. The "Give Way" sign in Arran Street and Cyfarthfa Street will be enewed if necessary. Additional SLOW markings will be provided, in a position cear of parked vehicles, closer to the junctions in Arran Street, and in both Cottrell Road and Cyferthfa Street.

Mackintosh Place
